Alan: Why is it totally inconsequential that most cops who die in the line of duty are killed in car accidents?

Indeed this striking fact does not even rise to radar.

We are desperate to blame somebody, preferably a bad guy, and "Dear God, let it be a black guy!"

Majority Of Officers Killed In Line Of Duty Were Traffic-Related Incidents

A new report details the number of law enforcement officers killed nationwide this year in the line of duty. Traffic-related deaths have been the number one cause in 15 of the last of 20 years.
