I am not "up to speed" on quantum mechanics but encourage you to read a splendid book by America's premier professor of Comparative Religion, Houston Smith, whose late life "modified-memoir," "Why Religion Matters" contains a chapter devoted to the "intersection" of light as physical phenomenon and religious reference.
In the following online copy of "Why Religion Matters," pay close attention to "Part Two, Chapter 8."
